 | Junior National Team Challenge |  | May 9th, 2010- Richmond, BC. The best Canadian juniors were vying for positions on the Canadian Junior team. In the end, Andre Ho (BC) and Anqi Luo (ON) claimed the top spots.
Ho finished the competition ahead of Quebec's Pierre-Luc Theriault and Arnaud Roche-Nadon (QC).
In the Junior 18 girls category, the top three spots went to 14 and 15 year old athletes. Anqi Luo remained undefeated while Shirley Fu (BC) finished second and Ni Ying (BC) third.

| Ho/Theriault Win Doubles in Venezuela, Theriault Silver in Singles |  |  | April 23rd, 2010- The top Canadian Junior Doubles team of Pierre-Luc Theriault and Andre Ho justified their #1 seed position at the Venezuela Junior Open, an ITTF Premium Junior Circuit event. Losing only two games, the two Canadians impressed in the Finals defeating their Brazilian opponents Danilo Toma/Gustavo Souza by a score of 3-1 (-8,7,8,7).
Ho suffered a quarter-finals exit at the hands of another young Brazilian Raphael Almeida. In the same round, Theriault faced also Brazilian opposition, the talented Eric Jouti. Theriault jumped to a quick 2-0 lead only to see Jouti even the match at 3-3. Then however, Theriault managed to close out the game at 11-9.

 | Canadian Juniors Silver in Venezuela |  | April 21st, 2010- The Canadian Junior Boys team fell short in its quest to win the team competition at the Venezuela Junior Open, an ITTF Premium Circuit Event.
Entering the event as the top seeded team, the Canadians breezed through round robin play winning all matches by a score of 3-0.
The first sign of resistance came from Ecuador, whose Ivan Proano edged out a 3-2 (11-9) win over Andre Ho (BC). However, Pierre-Luc Theriault secured 2 points in his singles matches prevailing in the match winner against Proano 3-2 (11-9).

| Filip Ilijevski (ON) Shines in ITTF World Hopes Competition |  |  | April 15th, 2010- 11-year old Filip Ilijevski traveled all the way to New Zealand to participate in an ITTF World Hopes training camp and competition. The Toronto youngster cam back with a medal around his neck.
In the preliminary round-robin competition, Ilijevski recorded a win against Australia's Yang Shen and lost a close encounter against Malaysia's Heng Lim Yi. Because of a better win-loss ratio, the young Canadian advanced to the final draw. |

| 2010 Senior National Team Challenge - Pierre-Luc Hinse and Carmen Lee winners |  |  | March 14th, 2010- Pierre-Luc Hinse (QC) and Carmen Lee (BC) walked away as winners from the 2010 Senior National Team Challenge.
Hinse faced youngster Pierre-Luc Theriault in the finals prevailing by a score of 4-0.
It was closer in the Women's Final where 14 year old Anqi Luo (ON) put up a fight against Carmen Lee. Leading 3-1 Luo succumbed to the more experienced Lee 3-4.

| MO ZHANG GOLDEN AT JEUX DE LA FRANCOPHONIE |  |  | October 3rd, 2009- Beirut, Lebanon – The Canadian table tennis team contributed three medals to Canada’s medal tally at the Jeux de la Francophonie – 2 GOLD and 1 SILVER. Mo Zhang bears the principal responsibility for the success.
Throughout the team event Mo dropped only 1 match – to France’s Audrey Mattenet. In the Singles she completed the competition without defeat.

 | IAN KENT - 2009 PARA PANAMERICAN CHAMPION, STEPHANIE CHAN WINS BRONZE |  | October 2nd, 2009- The 2009 Para-Panamerican Table Tennis Championships have just ended here in Maragrita Island, Venezuela. 48 year old, Ian Kent of Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia competed in two events : The Open Men's Singles (encompassing class 6-10 standing players), and Kent's event, Class 8.
In the Open Singles Ian received a bye in the round of 64 as a result of his top 16 world ranking. In the round of 32 Ian defeated Paulo Salmin Filho, a newcomer to the Brazillian Team 3-1, then went on to the round of 16 defeating Francisco Weligton Melo, Brazillian #1, 3-0. |
