The two finals pairings in Canada Cup #2 in Ottawa were the same as in the series' first event in Laval - Women's Singles: Zhang Mo vs Judy Long, Men's Singles: Wislon Zhang vs Wang Zhen. However, last month's losers became this month's winners. "I am so happy I became Canada Cup Champion for the first time," beamed Wang Zhen. Two Cubans, Andy Pereira and Dimey Gongora took the claimed medals.

Two of Canada's top players, Faazil Kassam and newly crowned North American Champion Bence Csaba missed the competition due to injury.
